The California Lemon Law, formally called the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, safeguards buyers or lessees by offering a remedy when a vehicle doesn’t meet the manufacturer’s warranty standards and can’t be fixed after several attempts, protecting consumers from getting stuck with subpar vehicles.

What Vehicles Qualify Under the CA Lemon Law?

New Vehicles: California’s lemon law protects most recently purchased cars, trucks, and SUVs intended for personal or household use on state roads and highways.
